The Cantilevered Sparton Shovel TM has been designed for long range trouble free casting with continuous lines or shooting heads from Bank or Boat and entirely eliminates any need for dropping your backing into the snags that infest every known fishing location .

Fitted with detachable Velcro-mounted studs for use in windy conditions . The studs substantially prevent loose coils of line from moving or being blown round in the tray causing tangles on the shoot .

If you have a very long memory you will remember that the best line raft was make by Stevens down Hertfordshire way in the late 60's and hasn't been available since. Our installation of High Frequency Welding Plant has meant that we have remade this fantastic raft out of modern materials with a proper lifejacket inflation valve –  The Raft is 29" x 26" Square with a 5" inflation chamber around the edges .
